The Fisher DVC6200 SIS in low-temperature configuration is a safety-certified digital valve controller designed for use in extreme cold environments. It provides full control, partial stroke testing and diagnostics for safety instrumented systems while maintaining reliable performance down to –55 °C (–67 °F). The low-temp version uses special seals, lubricants and materials to ensure startup and operation in arctic or cryogenic conditions. It is commonly deployed on emergency shutdown valves in LNG, arctic oil & gas and cold-climate chemical plants.
